This page covers hivedental.cloud, the site you are reading. It is a business website, not a patient-facing one, and it holds no patient information at all.
We keep the email address you type, and nothing else — no name, no practice, no phone number unless you send one. It reaches us through Web3Forms, a form-relay service that passes the message to our inbox. We use it to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass it to anyone else. Ask us and we will delete it.
If you accept cookies, this site loads Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. If you decline, or ignore the banner, the analytics script is never loaded — not loaded-and-disabled, not loaded at all. Declining costs you nothing on this site.
None of it is here. Patient enquiries live in the platform itself, under the practice that received them. Under Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act, that practice is the health information custodian and HiveDental acts as its agent. Records are stored in Canada. Replies are generated by an AI provider in the United States, which patients are told at the point they type their message. Each practice publishes its own statement of information practices on its own site.
Questions, corrections, or a request to delete what we hold: asif@hivedental.cloud. If you are not satisfied with how we handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or for patient information, to Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner.
